        TL;DR — Nurify does not sell your data and does not show ads. Your worship data stays on your device. We collect the email and name needed for optional sign-in, plus anonymous, aggregated usage analytics to improve the app. We never collect your advertising ID and never track you across other apps or websites.
    

1. Who We Are

Nurify is developed and maintained by Kaleges ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how Nurify (the "App"), available on iOS and Android, handles your information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information (Firebase Authentication)

Sign-in is optional. If you create an account or sign in, we collect:

Email address — to identify your account
Display name — to personalize your experience
User ID — a unique identifier generated by Firebase

This data is processed by Google Firebase and is used solely for authentication and app functionality.

2.2 Worship & App Data

Your prayer logs, dhikr counts, fasting records, Quran bookmarks, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device (using SwiftData on iOS and Room/DataStore on Android). If you choose to sign in, this data may also be synced to your private Firebase Firestore space so you can restore it on another device.

2.3 Location (Optional)

If you grant permission, the App accesses your location only to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your precise location is processed on-device and is never sent to our servers.

2.4 Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

To understand how the App is used and to improve it, we use Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated data such as:

App interactions — which screens and features are used (e.g. opening a surah, completing dhikr)
A Firebase app-instance identifier — an analytics ID, not an advertising ID
Approximate, city-level location — derived from your IP address by Google

This analytics data is not linked to advertising, is never used to serve ads, and is never sold. It does not include your account password, your worship content, your precise location, or the contents of your messages, photos, or files.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your advertising ID (Android AD_ID) or IDFA (iOS)
We do not track you across other apps or websites
We do not serve ads or use ad networks
We do not sell or rent your data, or share it with third parties for their own purposes
We do not create user profiles for advertising or marketing

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited data we collect is used exclusively to:

Authenticate your account and enable sign-in
Provide core app features (prayer times, notifications, cloud sync)
Sync your preferences if you sign in on a new device
Understand aggregate usage and improve the App (analytics)

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the App and Firebase
Authentication and synced data are stored securely by Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure)
Local app data resides on your device and is protected by the operating system's encryption (iOS Data Protection / Android encryption)

6. Third-Party Services

Nurify uses the following Google Firebase services:

Firebase Authentication — account management (Privacy Policy)
Firebase Firestore — cloud data sync (Privacy Policy)
Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (Privacy Policy)
Firebase Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (Privacy Policy)

7. Children's Privacy

Nurify is intended for a general audience (ages 13 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

You can at any time:

Delete your account — through the App's Settings, or via our account deletion page, which removes your authentication and cloud-synced data
Delete local data — by uninstalling the App
Revoke location access — through your device Settings (iOS or Android)
Request data export or deletion — by contacting us

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
